Before becoming a trial attorney, Mark built his career on the front lines of law enforcement.
Mark began as a Police Officer and Detective with the Broward County Florida Sheriff’s Office in the Cooper City district. He was later selected as a Special Agent with the State Police, investigating serious and complex crimes. He rose through the ranks to Lieutenant and ultimately Captain, leading officers, directing investigations, and making critical command decisions. Mark was twice awarded the Florida Police Medal of Valor for lifesaving actions in the line of duty — recognition reserved for exceptional courage under pressure. Mark graduated summa cum laude from Florida Southern College, earned his Master’s Degree with honors from the Harvard Graduate School of Education in Risk and Prevention Management, and graduated with honors from the University of Richmond School of Law.
